Twelve months ago, Jon Jones missed the chance to compete at The World’s Most Famous Arena when a devastating injury forced him out of his first UFC heavyweight championship defense.

Jon Jones may or may not continue fighting beyond UFC 309, but if he does, the reigning heavyweight champion has declared he would be willing to return for one more fight against light heavyweight king Alex Pereira over Tom Aspinall.

Jones fought wave after wave of light heavyweights prior to holding up the heavyweight division, but one fighter he never faced was current #1 contender Magomed Ankalaev, unbeaten in his last 13 fight but late to the party in terms of title contention.
