KP Ramaswamy, a promoter of Coimbatore-based textile company KPR Mill Ltd, on Wednesday, September (25) has sold 10.5 million shares, representing 3.1% equity in the company, for ₹971.4 crore. The shares were sold at an average price of ₹925.

Promoter KP Ramaswamy pared a total of 1.05 crore shares, which amounts to 3.1% of the company's total shareholding.

Travel tech platform Easy Trip Planners (EaseMyTrip) could see a block deal today. According to reports, promoter Nishant Pitti is likely to sell up to 15 crore shares, representing 8.5 per cent stake in the company,

The floor price for the sale is set at ₹433 per share, with the base issue consisting of 5.50% equity, equivalent to 1.08 crore shares, along with a greenshoe option of 0.55%, or 10.8 lakh shares. Shares of ASK Automotive Ltd ended at ₹467.

The shares of online travel aggregator EasyMyTrip, owned by Easy Trip Planners, faced a significant drop as they plummeted nearly 8% to hit an intraday low of ₹37.93 per share on the BSE. This sharp decline followed the offloading of a 2.

Nishant Pitti held 28.13% of the company’s equity stake as of June 2024, according to the data available on the exchange website. A total of 64.3% of the equity in the company is held by the promoter and the promoter group.

On Tuesday, September 24, sources told CNBC-TV18 that the company's promoter Nishant Pitti was to sell up to 8.5% of his stake in the company via block deals, with an estimated block size of ₹622 crore.

The buyers for the shares of Ease My Trip are expected to be multiple institutional investors, according to sources.
