More than 5,000 workers are expected to take part in walkout that ends later on Christmas Eve, according to labor group.

Strikes by Starbucks workers that kicked off on Friday in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Seattle have spread to more cities across the U.S.

The union said it expects the number of stores impacted to hit 300, but it's unclear if the group will hit that target by the end of Christmas Eve.
