The Texas Supreme Court dealt a final blow Thursday night to Attorney General Ken Paxton's hail-Mary attempt to quash the Texas State Fair's newly implemented no-gun policy, denying the state's request for a temporary injunction about 13 hours before the festivities begin Friday morning in Dallas' Fair Park.

Most gun owners will not be allowed to bring firearms at the State Fair of Texas, which kicks off Friday. On the eve of the annual festival, the Texas Supreme Court denied Attorney General Ken Paxton’s last attempt to block the new policy implemented by the State Fair of Texas.
