The detainees have been identified at 18-year-old Hezekiah Anderson and a 17-year-old boy. Both of them are charged with threatening to commit act of mass violence on school property and are set to appear in court on Monday, September 23rd. No injuries were reported.

The Marion police, with the assistance of other state law enforcement, responded Friday to a report of possibly armed students at Marion High School, according to a social media post by the department.

Two people were arrested after reports of possible armed suspects at Marion High School, the Marion Police Department said.

The district was notified of the alleged threat Friday morning and the high school was immediately placed on lockdown.
