At least two people are suffering from injuries after being attacked by sea lions in the Mission Beach area of San Diego.

An attacking sea lion repeatedly bit a man swimming off a San Diego beach, California lifeguards told news outlets. The 6-foot sea lion bit the 51-year-old man on his arms, legs and torso at Mission Beach at 6:45 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, lifeguards told KGTV.

A sea lion attacked a man while he was swimming at Mission Beach in San Diego on Friday night, officials said. The man, who officials say is in his 50s and regularly swims at Mission Beach, was about 50 yards offshore when he was aggressively bitten by a sea lion, according to Lt.
