Elon Musk-owned X raised the price of its premium-plus plan in several markets from Dec. 21 as the social media company looks to boost payment for creators on its platform. The top-tier plan is now priced at $22 a month in the U.

The nearly 40 percent price increase goes into effect immediately for new customers and next month for current subscribers.

Their top-tier plan has increased from $16 to $22 per month in the United States. Prices for the basic and premium subscriptions remain unchanged at $3 and $8

Elon Musk's social media site X will be increasing the cost of one of its main subscription plans from today for any new users joining the service. X has seen a tumultuous few years since Musk bought it as Twitter back in 2022.
