A Bangladeshi fan attending the India-Bangladesh Cricket Test match here on Friday was rushed to hospital after he was apparently heckled and assaulted inside the stadium

Assistant Police Commissioner (ACP) Kalyanpur Abhishek Pandey has denied reports that Bangladesh cricket fan named Tiger Robi was attacked by Indians on day one of the second Test between India and Bangladesh in Kanpur. A video of the same surfaced on social media as the cop claimed that he had fallen ill.

The incident of the Bangladeshi fan was first suspected to be of an assault by the spectators during the India vs Bangladesh 2nd Test match in Kanpur. But the UP Police has denied the assault reports,
